My name is Laura. My credentials include a Master of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Arts and Science Diploma, Creative Arts/ Live cell certificate, Acupressure certification, Nutritional care certification and a dozen others. In saying that, all practices, techniques, philosophies and modalities I offer were honed and used as methods to keep myself alive and implemented in places where modern medicine falls short; experience is the greatest teacher of them all.

Most of my life was spent in various states of crippling illness. To name a few: cancer, a rare lymph disease, Dysautonomia (nervous system condition), AuDHD, PTSD, C-PTSD and several genetic variants that cause a list of other health issues.  Along with this, I have endured tremendous grief due to the suicide of someone I dearly loved. I am no stranger to the dark, but it is the darkness that gives way to the light.

I state these things so that others may know it's possible to rise and that the soul is the vessel through which all healing is made possible.  I do not hold the monopoly on suffering by any means, however I do have the experience of sitting with it, holding and alchemizing it.  It is my calling to help you to do the same if you so desire. 

At the age of 10, and on the night of my grandfather’s passing, I had just laid down to go to sleep when I saw a figure standing in my bedroom doorway for what was probably only a few seconds.  I came to call this figure, “the dark man” and eventually, “the shadow man”.   This was, as you might assume, because he appeared as a dark shadow, tall, with a trenchcoat and a fedora type hat.  When I saw him, I was frozen in fear, but I also had an inexplicable knowing that someone had died. That was when the phone rang.  My parents and my two sisters were all settled in their beds and the ringing seemed to emit a cumbersome echo throughout our home. No one called our family that late at night…not ever.  With a knot in my stomach and fear in my heart, I slowly walked towards my parents’ room and stood in the doorway as my Mother hung up the receiver to end the call.  I was then informed that my paternal Grandfather had just passed away.  Very shortly after that I began to practice something that I had no name or frame of reference for.  What I was actually doing is called automatic writing – receiving messages from the other side.  I believe this came about on a day that I was feeling compelled to write another poem. I just zoned out, put my pen to the paper and …words that were not my own began to take form on the page.  I may have mentioned this to one of my school friends at the time, but I believe I kept it to myself for the most part. Being that I had encountered the shadow man and that I was now practicing automatic writing, I became more interested in what else might exist.  Life was less than ‘normal’ from that point onward.  It was heavily laden with necromancy and spirit activity.   This eventually led to an undeniable mediumship with my best friend who sadly took his life in 2023.
